| Hello prayer warriors,
1. Prayer note: becoming a guarantor [Proverbs 6:1-5] 1 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger, 2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. 3 Do this now, my son, & deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, & make sure thy friend. 4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids. 5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, & as a bird from the hand of the fowler. We have been talking about enduring prosperity. One of the things that the Bible warns us about is becoming a co-signatory or a guarantor for someone. I have a personal friend who became a guarantor and then got himself into serious debt when his relative defaulted in payment. Do not become a guarantor unless you are prepared to pay and have the resources to do so. If you don't have the finances, you are actually pledging your future earnings and your possessions to someone else. Having enduring prosperity also means being wise in the decisions that we make have to make throughout our lives. 2. New prayer requests: i. salvation for my brother & his family -- guest My brother & his girlfriend has been together for over ten years. Since then they had two sons. For the last two years the relationship have been very rocky & not to mention financial problems. They know they must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior. Also to end their fornication relationship immediately. To heal all past hurts. They also need a church home to start attending. Pray that the Lord will lead a Christian Counselor or Minister guided by the Holy Spirit for pre-marital counseling. She refuses to go to marriage counciling. I firmly believe that satan has his grip on her & he is not allowing her to see things as they are. We have two beautiful children & they need to be together & they are now split apart because of this. Cancer -- gp54 Please pray for my mom (Peggy) who has just learned she has lung cancer. Urgent Prayers for Pam's father -- godprayser I have a special prayer request. It's from a dear friend of mine, Pam. I think I should send this prayer request to everyone of you since prayer is power & we should always pray for one another. Pam's dad had just been admitted to the hospital for an eye operation. One side of his eye is already blind due to age & he's a diabetic. I'm not exactly sure what is the medical term for his condition but I know that the retina of his eye has been detached from the inside. The doctor can't operate on it cause he has gone thru many operations before, so the one he's going to go through will just help him maintain his current visibility which is only 50% of the whole eye. This operation has only a 50-50 chance of succeeding. We really need a miracle here. Let's ask God to give the doctors knowledge & wisdom & strength, to commit the entire operation to God's hands. Ask God to comfort the whole family, especially her dad, throughout the entire procedure. Prayer request update -- iamajfreak I asked all of you to pray for my uncle & also my cousin. I thank you for all of your prayers. My uncle is fine, the heart attack wasn't too severe & my cousin's surgery went well. She will be out of school for a while but is fine. My uncle has recovered well.
